TEMPORARY FULL TIME SUPERVISOR
CLAS, a not for profit, charitable organization providing residential services for individuals with intellectual challenges throughout the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, has an opening for a temporary full time supervisor (six months up to one year term)
Reporting to the Executive Director/Program Co-ordinator, the Supervisor is an integral part in the efficient and effective operation of various program areas including:

Direct supervision of front line staff

Scheduling
-
Support of direct residential care
-
Financial monitoring
-
Assisting with preparation of budget
-
Participation in an on-call system
The ideal candidate for this position must have the following qualifications:

Bachelor’sDegree in Human Services or Social Sciences or equivalent
-
At least five years full time equivalency of supervisory experience in direct
residential care
-
A proven capacity to build relationships with residents, co-workers, family, other professional support networks and management
-
Preference will be given to those with experience in supporting residents with
intellectual challenges and dual diagnosis

Access to a fully registered, insured and safe vehicle
